Bryan  earned a BS  in Biochemistry and Cell Biology with a minor in Economics from the University of California at  San Diego. He received a full scholarship to St. Louis University School of Medicine to obtain his medical degree. After graduating from medical school Dr. Doonan moved to Newport Beach to begin his internship and residency at the University of California, Irvine. Inspired by his younger years of surfing and skateboarding, Dr. Doonan then started his fellowship in sports medicine at Kramer Orthopedic Group in Newport Beach. At Kramer Orthopedics he learned first hand from some of the best Orthopedic Surgeons in Southern California.

He has been in cosmetic aesthetics since 2008. 

In addition to being the medical director and co-owner of Natural Aesthetica, Dr. Doonan is the medical director and owner of several urgent care facilities in Southern California.
